Dead or Alive 5 Last Round Crashing and affecting my XB1

Hello

I bought DOA5LR yesterday and I'm little disappointed.

Digital XB1 Version bought from the XB1 Store

Crashes every time without fail if I look for a online lobby, ranked or not , and will reboot the game to the start menu.

Sometimes if I start the game from the dash the game wont actually start at all and will stay pre title screen.

This also slows down the console to a snails pace and leaves me no choice but to turn the console off. Then actual shutting down process will take over 5 minutes.

I've looked on the DOA forums, this game does seem very problematic xb1 but my symptoms seem to be a little unique.

Can I get a refund as I think I would like to play it elsewhere?

Anyway, I have two issues. First, the updates to Last round deleted all my save data which is very frustrating. Is there anyway to recover my save game data?

Second, the DLC I purchased does not include the extra costumes as listed on the website:

As it lists on the website "All content from DOA5 and DOA5U listed below is included for free in Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.". Yet the DLC I purchased and updates I downloaded DO NOT include these outfits.

Can you please clarify? Or give me an email of someone who can?

Team Ninja is aware of crashes (many media sites and their own Twitter account mention them) and it isn't limited to Xbox One. They have confirmed they are working on it as a matter of urgency.

When it runs slow, simply highlight it, press the MENU button and select QUIT. It should be quicker than shutting down your console every time.

As for a refund, you would need to contact Xbox Support directly, refund requests in the forums won't suffice. support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

We had a problem with it freezing and crashing while we were playing locally and discovered if we went into Fight, selected Arcade the press x to change throwdown settings change it to decline. Then you just play, and even in other modes we haven't had any
problems with freezing or crashing any longer. Hope this helps some of you.

Dead or Alive 5 is not on the list of backwards compatible games for Xbox. There is a separate Dead or Alive 5 Last Round that works with the Xbox One consoles but the regular 360 version does not.

I have a disc copy of the game.

Rather annoyingly, instead of installing content from the disc... it immediately starts downloading the content from the marketplace.

But all the people should be there.

If you load up properly from the beginning, and make sure the game sees you are signed in, then the game should acknowledge you own everything and display them.

When I would get invited to a game from the dashboard... it wouldn't have time to read all the content and I'd arrive in my buddy's lobby with only 4 characters.

But if I loaded the game fully first it works fine.

Brilliant game.

Absolutely stupid way to manage the content though.
