Dead Island Definitive Collection unplayable on Xbox One S.

Hi.

On the microsoft store you are able to buy both dead island and dead island riptide as definitive editions separately yet the definitive collection where you get both games in one isnt playable on the xbox one despite it stating on the xbox website that it can be played on xbox one and the new consoles. So why can't I buy the games as one, if it isn't optimised for the new consoles?

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

There are multiple reports in regard to multiple games on an Xbox Series X|S consoles getting this message prompt. However, there are no official announcements yet from Microsoft but as I have checked the game, it is available for Xbox Series X|S consoles and Xbox One consoles.

Please perform a power cycle on your console and then check again.

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

No, It was free on PSN+. I did finish the legit 360 version and it was ok, a little bit boring. Idk, I'd rather have silent hill gore.

I got it as I didn't play it much on 360. Enjoyed playing for an hour or so yesterday. It was only £25 on the UK marketplace so why not?

Never really liked Dead Island so I'd never spend money on remasters of them. I guess if you like games like that then it's worth it but you won't get me to recommend the bundle to anyone.
