    This is my first Xbox. I bought a 360 to play DDR. I have DDR the DDR Xbox live disc, signed up for a new Microsoft account, created an avatar, and got the dance pad. I am connected to the internet. The problem is, the title page of the DDR game keeps repeating. I can't get into the game with play or A. At one point it asked me if if I wanted to save the controller to the hard drive and I selected Yes and it worked. But then when I logged out and back into the game it stopped working again. How do I get it to start the game/ask me about the dance pad controller again? This has taken me days/hours of troubleshooting to get this far and I can't find any info online to help.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting DDR to start on your Xbox 360.

    Make sure you are using the correct controller. DDR is played with a dance pad controller, not a regular Xbox 360 controller.

    Check the connections for the dance pad controller. Make sure it is properly plugged into the Xbox 360 and that all of the cables are securely connected.

    Restart your Xbox 360. Sometimes a simple restart can resolve issues with games not starting properly.

    Make sure your Xbox 360 is updated to the latest system update. You can check for and install updates by going to "System Settings" and selecting "System Update".

    I hope these suggestions help you get DDR up and running on your Xbox 360.

    Which dance pad are you trying to use? Is this a new or used product? I would say that the most likely answer is that the gamepad is used, and that due to age or being stomped on 1 million times is no longer as functional as it once was. Can you try it on another Xbox 360 and see if it has similar behavior?

    On demand are two DDR games , on retail stores i got DDR Revolution for $3.00. The new DDR of kinect looks cool but not enough to make me buy a kinect.

    I'm not sure how console memory works but for the PC DDR and GDDR are two different types of ram. DDR memory is for the CPU and GDDR is dedicated graphics memeory. .



    For Example:



    Intel Core i5 3570k Cpu with 8GB of DDR3 memory 1600 Mhz

    Radeon XFX HD 6970 with 2GB of GDDR5 1400 Mhz



    Technically GDDR memory is faster than DDR.
