Firstly, you can select the correct audio output device in Windows Settings.

1. DaVinci Resolve Audio Settings:
   
   1. Open DaVinci Resolve and go to the "Preferences" or "Settings" menu.
      
   2. Navigate to the "Audio I/O and Playback" or similar section.
      
   3. Ensure that the correct audio output device is selected in the audio settings.
      
2. Project Settings:
   
   1. Within your DaVinci Resolve project, go to the "Project Settings".
      
   2. Under the "Master Settings" tab, check the audio playback settings to ensure they are configured correctly for your project.
      
3. Timeline Settings:
   
   1. Select your timeline or sequence in DaVinci Resolve.
      
   2. Check the timeline's audio settings, including audio tracks and their settings (mute, solo, etc.).
      
4. Audio Tracks:
   
   1. Verify that the audio tracks in your timeline have audio clips or audio data on them.
      
   2. Ensure that individual audio clips are not muted or disabled.
      
5. Check Mute/Solo Buttons:
   
   Look for mute or solo buttons in the timeline viewer. Make sure no tracks are muted unintentionally.
   
6. Restart DaVinci Resolve:
   
   Sometimes, simply restarting DaVinci Resolve can resolve minor playback issues.

FIXED: It was the cable input to the monitor. it was in dp2 and wasn't reading it or was reading and wasn't using it. I changed ports to dp1 and it works great. Thanks for the response, and I hope my information helps someone else.

On a side note I hooked up my HDMI cable to 1 and 2 ports and it worked just find.

There is a known issue currently that the team is tracking for audio cutting in and out for some games. I’m wondering if your issue is related or if this is game specific. I see a lot of audio issues for the PS3 version but not for the 360 version in a Google
search.

I believe you are having problems...not disputing that. The controller has a maximum range of 18 feet. I could see having issues the closer you get to that point; as in audio cutting out. My audio is the first to go when I walk to the other side of the house
to get a glass of tea.

Measured from the room I play in to the kitchen. Roughly start to have problems at the 15' (4.5 meters) mark; audio totally gone at 19' (5.7 meters.). So my point is it's not a problem. Maybe you and others do not like the range, but it is living up to
the way it was designed.
