    Dashboards should not be a stores


    I understand it’s a test, I understand they’re testing things, A B testing and whatnot.. However, a dashboard should NEVER be an extension to the store, you shouldn’t be forced to see stuff from the store right in front of you. Remember windows 8 and why it was si not as accepted? Well, there’s a reason people pay YouTube premium and pay to remove ads, but frankly, this new dashboard experience takes away function and intuitive over ads.

    That being said, something’s that could improve the dashboard:

    • Quick resume should be right below “jump back in” instead of whatever gamepass.
    • Everything gamepass should be able to be collapse, think of a spreadsheet, spreadsheets that go to column ZA are never good. -Nothing from the store should be in there at all, this is what mainly makes the whole dashboard like a giant billboard.

    If you mean the previews of games in the store and sponsored dashboard ads, I agree they are way too loud. There should be a volume setting for that. Actually maybe there should be a overall dashboard volume setting.

    Mine worked fine.

    Have you checked in the in game store and downloaded premium for the xbox one? Highlight premium in the in game store and it should let you buy it but the price should be zero.

    it's very important to use the in game store and not the xbox one store on the dashboard.

    It's also possible to get the games directly from the store if not seeing the tile on the dashboard. In the store they should be marked as "free with Gold" instead of displaying a retail price.

    Yeah, that is the Epic Games Store version. You should get a refund from them and then buy it on the Xbox Dashboard.
