Dashboard scrolling

Alright so a few days ago, at start up the dashboard would scroll left and stay stuck there. Somehow i got it to the updates in settings and afterwards everything was fine after the update. So now a couple days later it's doing the same thing now going
to the left and also down. Its not my controller. And i cant get to the settings let alone to the update section. It wont prompt me to update on start. What do i do now?

I hadn't tried the hard restart yet but as fas a trying to get the account off i can't select anything. I don't think i can even navigate enough to do that.

Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account

If cortana is active on your console you could attempt to navigate with her also if you have any other controllers try to use them

factory reset on your Xbox?

Aside from that, you may also have to
Update your Controllers.

Yes ive tried using my wireless conroller through the USB and it still does the same thing. & no i havent did a factory reset
