    Dashboard scroll glitch


    Hello,

    I bought an Xbox one x last week, May 23, 2018. I have this weird glitch with the dashboard from time to time and the only thing that has fixed it so far is a hard restart. After I hit the Xbox button to bring up the dashboard I try to scroll down but it
    won’t let me. It makes in one line down and jumps straight back up to the home button. I’ve sat there and held it for several minute a but it just won’t do anything but shoot straight back to the home button after letting go of the joystick pen Dpad. I hadn’t
    this problem with my Xbox one as well. What the heck Ian the issue? And no I’m not alright with hard restarting everytime it happens.

    glitch? oblivion content?

    Skyrim is an Elder Scrolls game just like Oblivion... that's a glitch.

    I hadn't tried the hard restart yet but as fas a trying to get the account off i can't select anything. I don't think i can even navigate enough to do that.

    Try removing the account from the console, doing a hard restart, hold the power button for 10 seconds while the system is on, and then re-adding the account

    If cortana is active on your console you could attempt to navigate with her also if you have any other controllers try to use them

    I have a few questions that can help us better understand what is going on. Does connecting your new controller through USB solve the issue? Are you a part of the preview program? Have you attempted a

    factory reset on your Xbox    ?

    Aside from that, you may also have to
    Update your Controllers    .

    Yes ive tried using my wireless conroller through the USB and it still does the same thing. & no i havent did a factory reset
