Dashboard freeze

    Dashboard freeze


    so this problem just recently surfaced. When I click the home button the snap menu will pop up but I can go left to party or right to messages. After spammng the left and right Dpad maybe 30 seconds later the snap menu will go crazy. Once I'm on the left
    or right side if the snap menu I can navigate without problems. But if i go over the part that says home,games and apps, captures, ECT. It freezes again. When I am in a game. The snap menu does not even respond. And to get home I literally have to restart
    my xbox. Ive done the factory restore even the complete wipe but the problem still stands. I am just confused how to fix the problem because it has become very irritating. Is it a hardware or software problem? Do I need to send for repair?

    Mine does the same thing. When I go to my Home screen after the X1 sits idle for a couple hours, I have to wait a couple minutes before things start working again. I watch my friend activity, and once it starts scrolling again then I know I'm back in business.

    i have same problem. dashboard freeze, rebooting rarely works, i have to unplug everythng and plug it again, that's the only way it works, but then next time same problem, and repeat, so annoying.

    I had this happen to me as well when I had dashboarded out of Skyrim to change my settings to keep my Xbox 360 on, and on my way over, it just froze on me. No reason. I had to unplug it and then plugged it back in. hasn't happened to me ever since.

    I am having a similar issue. I have a One that is in power save mode and this last week, when I try to sign in with any of the profiles on my box all I get is the spinning circle forever. If I hit the b button it loads the dashboard of the individual I was
    logging in as. I can launch any application or game but all I get is the loading screen of the game or app but they never launch. If I hit the B button I go back to the dashboard but this time everything is frozen. The only way to resolve it is to do a hard
    shutdown by holding the power button down. Once I have it rebooted ti works fine again for a few days.
