Darwin project disappeared for the store

The Darwin Project (game preview) disappeared from the store after I downloaded the trial version now that’s the trial ran out it and it said you have to buy it to keep playing that’s when it wasn’t in the store anymore. What happened?

The game was removed on June 22. The developers have decided to release the game as a free to play game and it will be available again on July 4.
