Darksiders GOD freezes when loading

I've just bought Darksiders from Games On Demand in this weeks Nordic Sale, and when I've tried to play it, the screen goes black, makes a notification sound but you can't see anything, then the 360 itself freezes, so I have to turn the whole thing off with
the main power button. this has happened several times. Ive tried deleting it, then re-downloading it. I've cleared the system cache on the hard drive. I've looked to see if the file is corrupted, but it's not. I've looked at other older posts where someone
else had the same problem, but there didn't seem to be a solution

Darksiders download won't work

Just bought the GoD version of Darksiders and it does not work. I've downloaded it twice, and both times, all I get is a black screen. I hear the notification sound like it's prompting me to download the update, and then my Xbox freezes.

Borderlands 2 keeps freezing?

I thought i was the only one GOD this is sooooooo annoying i cant even get to the play screen it jus freezes at the loading screen

It seems this is a frequent problem with Darksiders GOD, for other gamers as well are experiencing the same issue:

A way to pass the black screen and go to the menu is hard reset the first time and try again leaving it for a few minutes, the update screen will eventually pop up.

Give Darksiders a go. Not exactly like God of war but has the same hack and slash feel. Lots of upgrading to do as well.

Honestly, yes right now I want Darksiders 2 more than ANY other video game. But as of now, as far as i know, they didn't announce an actual release date. As far as Darksiders 2 goes, the first release date they gave was about a year and half behind when
the actual game came out.

And by god was it worth the wait! (I hope you got the comic with it as well! i <3 Ludo Lullibi's art style) I seriously cannot wait for Darksider's 2!!!!!

And if anybody else loves Joe Mad's art, check out the stuff he is doing in the new Avenging Spiderman Comic. It's only on issue 2 (maybe 3 if I myself are behind!) God I love his art......

Oh yea, and Ghost Recon looks sweet. But it doesn't tickle my art fancy like DarkSiders
