Darkened screen when playing certain games at Native Resolution

Oh yeah another thing I want to ask does playing 360 on a 1080p native resolution screen cause any input lag in games when you use your controller ? Either when you set the console at 720p or 1080p .

if your setup won't natively support certain resolutions it's never a good idea to try and force it.

I have tried trouble shooting the resolution but the game it’s self looks pixelated playing at 1080p on a 1440p monitor when I play any game on the Xbox series s. but if I play the same game on the Xbox one x it plays at the native resolution at 1440p

i'm having the same problem on my surface pro 3. Tried all the above, but it still crashes and won't start. I did the screen resolution change and it works. Need to fix it so it works with the surface pro 3 native resolution. It's a pain having to change
the screen resolution every time I want to play.

Way too much emphasis on native resolution. All games are output at 1080p regardless the native resolution. The quality of the textures is much more important than the native resolution. Ryse is a great example of a game with
quality textures vs. native resolution. The latest GT on the PS3 is a great example of a native 1080p game with lower quality textures. You can't simply use 1080p as a baseline for measuring graphic quality.
