Dark spot in the game's dvd that prevents the correct reading of the game

Hello Xbox team.

Sorry my poor english, I'm brasilian.

Appeared in some of my games a dark spot on the side of the DVDs. These spots damage the correct readding of the game by displaying the error "clean your dvd" and preventing the game from begin played. This problem occurred with four games: Fifa 14, Call of
Duty World at War, GTA V and Forza Horizon. I would like to know what is that and if you are able to help me solve this problem. I keep my games vertically in ary places without the sun light or moisture.

Quick Question.

If you miss your first, second, and third spot attempts (correct me please) the game doesn't allow you to spot for 15 seconds in order to prevent spot spam. Sometimes though the game just doesn't allow you to spot because of lag or just because it is a bug.
It happens every once and awhile but the bug won't deter me from spotting.

Disc Read Issues

Hello everyone,

Thought I'd update this thread to let you all know my DVD drive appears to have been fixed. How did I fixed it? I watched some movies.

No joke. I picked up The Dark Knight Trilogy a few weeks back and watched Batman: Begins, and after that the DVD drive starting reading game discs reliably again. It was reading everything first try save for once, where it took two tries.

The following weekend I watched The Dark Knight and my DVD drive has read game discs flawlessly since.

The only thing I can think of is since I always install my games, the drive hasn't had much of a work out in years and it either needed one or there was some dust or something stuck on the laser and the constant disc reading for a few hours dislodged it.

Unfortunately, once your discs are damaged, there's nothing you can do. I would recommend installing your games at all times, when possible, to avoid this issue. I'd also recommend that you store your games in a cool, dark, place, away from any temperature
changes, but especially sudden temperature changes.

I'm sorry you're having issues with your console recognising Xbox 360 games. The end your post says your console can't read DVD discs either, is that correct?

If your console can't read Movie DVD's either then I'm afraid that means your Xbox One has a hardware issue with the Blu-ray drive. The Xbox One Blu-ray drive has a laser that can read both types of disc, however, it sounds to me like the part of the drive
that reads DVD discs is faulty (Xbox 360 games are on DVD disc format).

To get this corrected you'll have to send your console to Microsoft for a repair.

UPDATE: I rolled back the Xbox system update using (LB RB X 2x) in storage and it will play my disk now occasionally it will say unreadable disk but will now play disk. Now I can't play Xbox live due to me not re updating my system. Wtf Microsoft?
