Dark Souls: Remastered has vanished from my library

Hey there, I’m an avid Dark Souls 3 fan, and one day I had enough money to buy both Dark Souls 1 and 2. And so I did, I played the second one a bit more than the first, but eventually I ended up deleting both of them and they went unplayed for a while. I don’t really know when exactly, but now every single time I look throughout my owned Xbox game library, It doesn’t appear at all. It’s been multiple months since I acquired them both, but it should be noted that I have friends even seeing me play it and guiding me through the game. Yet now, it doesn’t seem to appear at all. Not even in the hidden section of my library. And so, I checked the Microsoft store to see if I own it, and it said I have to pay the regular fee. In confusion, I looked it up on my purchase history of all the games I’ve owned, and still nothing turned up in relation to the game, only the second one appeared. I checked the refunded games section of my Microsoft purchases, and still nothing turned up. I searched my refunds because I remember that I bought Saints Row 3 Remastered and I was displeased with how different it was with the original and so I requested a refund. I assumed the request was denied when it reappeared in my library. I feared for a bit that I might have refunded the wrong game at first, but then after checking to see that DS1 wasn’t even marked as refunded or purchased in the first place in my owned games. Let me note that I am still able to access the second one, and I just want some answers as to why the first Dark Souls game has mysteriously vanished beyond my understanding. Any suggestions and answers would be appreciated greatly.

I appreciate you checking everything but without the transaction, it may mean that the game is not purchased on the account that you're using.

It can be a shared game as well from a friend, family member, or other accounts that is logged into your console.

Okay I would like to apologize because I have found the game. I don’t buy hardcopies anymore, and I forgot that I bought it quite literally on May 11th, as my Xbox said. I got it at gamestop in the mall. I hadn’t touched it in so long that I thought it was just a digital copy, and I’d like to sincerely apologize for wasting your time. I feel so ridiculous because I’ve been looking for it for months. I recently moved and I just found it in a box that I kept in a storage container with all of my hardcopy games in it. I genuinely had to do some detective work to find it, went through old photos and everything. I hope you don’t get too angry at my being a nuisance lol, and once again thank you greatly for your time.

Thank you so much for the detailed information and if the game isn't showing up on your order history it may mean that you may have purchased it on a different account. Kindly check all Microsoft account that you own just so you can locate the order for the game.

Alright, sorry, I had a response typed out but then I went to check my E-mail to see any purchase verifications. It says I last played the game on 05/11/21, I checked my e-mail at that time, and I can’t find any evidence or transaction receipts. As for my other account, I never bought any games with it, I would usually just use my primary account and have it set as my home Xbox to access my other owned games. Last I checked, Dark Souls Remastered was never on Game-pass, and at this point I’m just confused. If it was at that time, then void my confusion, but I am almost completely certain that I owned this game because it would show up in my owned games library. I’ve been searching to see if anyone else has had this problem with this game specifically but alas, no dice.

Because Dark Souls 2 has not been made backwards compatible. Making a 360 game BC with the Xbox One is hard work and MS need approval from the developer/publisher. There is a remastered version of Dark Souls II for Xbox One.
