    I received my code for the dark souls BC. However, once I used the code the game is not showing up in the 'ready to install' section of My Games and Apps.

    Dark souls backwards compatibility

    That is because the game is not backwards compatible yet. You will not be able to download and play Dark Souls until it has been added to the Backwards Compatibility list.

    Dark Souls will be added soon to the Backwards Compatibility list, but it is not yet available. Make sure to keep an eye on the Backwards Compatibility list!

    There is nothing we can share at this time as far as when Dark Souls will be backwards compatible, but your free copy of Dark Souls is playable on Xbox 360.
