Dance Central Spotlight crashes / stuck on log on screen after harmonix logo appears

I have been playing Dance Central Spotlight from day one and now I can't get it to work. I downloaded new DLC and played with it the night before. In the morning, when I tried restarting the game it crashed. Now, when I try to start the game it
goes past the Harmonix logo welcome and then on the next log on screen it freezes. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the game. I've also changed the gamer pic. Nothing has worked.

Anybody know how to fix this issue?

Very cool of Harmonix to move previously-bought DLC over, like they did with
Dance Central: Spotlight.

Now we just need an Xbox One reboot/revision of Dance Dance Revolution to make my day. That has to be in the cards, right?

Sorry to hear it. Please try holding the power button on your console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. After that unplug everything from it and let it sit for 5 minutes. See if that helps the issue.

 

I have tried that and it doesn't help. However, I did find out that if I go offline the game will work fine. However, if I am connected to the internet then it freezes at welcome screen after Harmonic logo.

 

Strange. It may be an issue with trying to sync up with the internet. Try holding the power button on the console again and then when the console is shut off unplug your modem/router for 5 seconds. When it's back up and running again try loading the game.
