    Daily console update download of 550 mb?


    Just joined the insider program last week and so far every day when I turn the console on I have to do an approximate 550 mb download/install. Didn’t see anything about it in the FAQ so I was just wondering if this is normal or am I an outlier? This is on the One X, not sure if it makes a difference. Thanks.

    updates!!??

    Don't expect to have 50 mb updates (game/console),on current gen systems.....

    200 mb for an update,it's a (very) small download.

    Xbox one got at least one system update every month + time to time, updates for apps and games that you own.

    But it can be download while the console is in stand by mode.

    I was kind of hoping to pre-download the game (lol) so I could start playing it the minute I get home from work tomorrow. My Internet speed is pretty quick, so I guess downloading 550 mb shouldn't take too long.

    Are you really going to wait to get the console just so you don't have to download a 500 MB update? Sounds kind of unreasonable to me.

    Check under my games and apps if the dlc is updated, if you pre-ordered it, it only downloaded a 10 MB placeholder file. If it's only 10 mb you need to update it. Just click the view button while the dlc is selected and wait for the update to show in the
    left list and download it.

    Viking I would love to be able to try that but, with only getting 1 mb to 3 mb download it would take forever for me to download most of my games again.

    Camaro I am talking about my game updates not system updates. The issue began though when I received the latest Match update.
