If he on a laptop he has to use the manufacturers tool

If that don't work then his gpu is too old as the troubleshooting steps .mentiomed typically recent cards won't have that issue it's the older.or discount cards that may run into this problem

Your actual hardware GPU has to support these features, not just the software installed in windows.

Unfortunately no, it doesn't meet the minimum requirements. This mobile GPU lacks power, shaders and memory bandwidth. It won't run on that machine.

WHilst the Graphics card itself is likely capable given MCD's lowish requirements, the DirectX level of the GPU will likely be problematic. ALthough that card technically supports DX11, the feature level of the card is only 10.1.

Ultimately, the G210 is an ancient GPU (was released in 2009) and is not a gaming GPU so a lot of modern games it will either struggle with or simply not run them
