D1 xbx1 disc not working and stuck in trial mode

So about 2 weeks ago, I decided to try and hop back on destiny with a few friends but when it loaded up, it was on trial mode. Then, I checked if the disc was in the console but, it was. So I decided maybe the disc is dirty so I cleaned it and tried again
but still in trial mode. I saw that when I insert the disc it doesn’t show that the disc is even there since the icon is completely missing but ik it is spinning and everything because i can hear and feel it is working, also this is the only disc that doesn’t
work and everything else does. I tried clearing my cache out and reseting my xbox and unistalling and reinstalling many times. No matter what I do it just doesn’t show that the disc is even in there and therefore making me stuck in trial mode. It doesn’t boot
up the game automatically when inserting the disc and basically does literally nothing. I don’t think it is a problem with my disc or my disc drive but rather a corrupted file or some update that makes it broken since I have checked my disc many many times
for scratches but still looks fine. I still have rise of iron content digital and age of triumph content so I can play 390 raids and all the weekly things including crucible and only rise of iron strikes but, anything before rise of iron I can’t play because
all of it was on my disc. Anyone with the same issue, have you tried buying the digital copy and does this fix the issue?
