Experiencing Lag Every Game - In Need of HELP!!!!

Configure DMZ on your D-link router at this stage is not necessary. DMZ is something you should try as a last attempt if everything else has failed. I should recomend that you start with UPnP enabled and do not use DMZ.

    Good luck!

    Connection Issues

Alright, let's try enabling DMZ for your Xbox One console by following the steps on our

Linksys DMZ post. The post I linked is for a very similar router, so the steps should be very close to the same.

Try that out and post back to let us know how it goes! :D

Getting disconnected every on Xbox Live every so often.

That particular D-Link router is not listed
    support.xbox.com/.../network-hardware-compatible-xbox-live
as being compatible with multiple Xbox consoles. That doesn't mean it won't work, but it's unknown whether it will support multiple consoles well. UPnP is essential to multiple consoles; make sure
it's turned on in the router setup,
    http://www.pcwintech.com/screenshots-d-link-dsl-2640r-d-link-firmware
and that Port Forwarding and DMZ are _not_ turned on. It doesn't look like Port Triggering is available in that router; if a firmware upgrade from D-LINK makes it available, I would strongly
    suggest it.

    Xbox Live Connection Disconnects Constantly

UPDATE: On my router I had an option for a DMZ connection. I set my Xbox's IP as a DMZ and it all seems to be working now. DMZ is short for 'demilitarized zone', when the new Xbox update came it did something strange and now it requires this function be
turned on. However I am unaware how many other routers offer this feature (I have a D-Link). So far (two games of Call of Duty in) I have had no issues.
