    Pls someone help its been a year since i got my xbox and I can't even purchase games because of the CVV error in my mom's debit card i keep putting the cvv code but still Microsoft says it has a error in it i only have this debit card and i can't change
    it pls someone help me

    Hi there,

    the CVV code for Visa is security requirement and is called a Card Security Code and it's used to validate the payment when a PIN number isn't an option. Other credit cards have similar codes but may be called something different.

    Had the same problem a while back while trying to do the same using Firefox. Switched to Internet Explorer, and it worked perfectly. Worth a try:)

    When I try to buy something it always tells me my CVV is wrong even tho its not.

    Your cvv is the 3-4 digit code on the back or front of your card not the creditcard number

    (Depending on issuer ) Amex is 4 digits most are 3 and depends on ho issued the card it could be infront

    The CVv is only on the physical card

    Accounts do not store them and you are only asked to verify the CVv for pii purposes like confirming your identidy or entering it onto an account and purchases
