    The thing i miss about morrowind

    Is that lack of fast travel. by fast travel i dont mean the cravans. its the fast traveling to a random cave on the other side of skyrim that annoys me.

    I know alot of you swear by it, and it kind of is necessary now. but only because bethesda has made fast travel necessary. instead of having quest hubs where the quests took you into the surrounding wilderness or neighbouring cities. the quests make you
    globe trot around the place.

    i try not to fast travel because it breaks the immersion for me, but with the quest system the way it is, the tempation is often too great.

    this is my only complaint. prolly the most amazing game ever made.

    I think this is actually a very good idea to "see more" of Skyrim. Under Fast Travel, you'll miss out on a lot of the little "quirky" things and possibly a Quest or more. Try to always walk (in person) wherever you go, it makes
    Skyrim all the more entertaining.

    You ride a Dragon anyway at the end of the main quests, well more of fast travel on a Dragon than fly it.

    My rule for fast travel is this: Long travel go fast, short distance, walk it for the skills. I just keep in mind that if I do make the walk, there is a good chance ill go off quest and get caught up in something else.
