Custom Xbox One Wireless controllers from Xbox Design Labs

So I have 2 Custom Xbox One Wireless controllers from Xbox Design Labs, both out of warranty the problems started probably right around the year mark. Anyway the custom rubber grips are coming apart, is Xbox/Microsoft doing anything to fix this honoring replacements? Anything? Suggestions or Direction welcome.

$100 is a lot of money to just throw away, the controllers work but they aren't enjoyable to use any longer.

    Thanks

    Falco

    Controller question

    Hi there

i am wanting to customize my xbox controller on this

    website
If by "this website" you mean the
    Xbox Design Lab
then yes. The customized controllers you order via the Design Lab website are all wireless, and can be transformed for latency free wired gameplay by connecting them with a Micro USB cord to the console.

The only difference between a Design Lab controller and the other Xbox One controllers offered by Microsoft is that the user can customize the Design Lab controller's colors as well as get some text imprinted on it. They use the same batteries, USB cables,
    battery covers.

    Hello
    albagaga93
    !

Thanks for reaching out to Xbox forums support.

I understand that you're having disconnecting issues with you Design Labs controller.

It sounds like you've already tried some of the trouble shooting steps that I was going to suggest.

The fact that only your Design Labs controller is having issues and not your other controllers rules out the possibility

of it being a wireless interference problem. Here are a couple of links that should help:

    1.
    Design Labs FAQ

    2.
Xbox Design Lab and Xbox Design Lab controller help

If you continue to have issues with the DL controller I would suggest setting up a repair order if it's still under warranty.

It will take a little while because the fact that it is a custom Design Labs controller like you mentioned, so the sooner you send it off,

    the better.

I hope this helped! Good luck and happy gaming!
