    Custom Profile Pictures Disabled COVID-19


    Alright, so apparently custom profile pictures have been disabled temporarily due to COVID-18. Any reason why?How does this help at all? When will they be coming back?

    What happens is basically when you try to upload a custom profile picture on your Xbox profile, an error will pop up with the following message, “Sorry, we can’t upload that picture right now. Please try again later.”

    Increased traffic due to more people playing games while they are in self-isolation. Xbox alone is reporting a surge of over 775% to their Azure servers in some regions.

    It's might be quite crazy to see that kind of spike, and it also explains the problems with Live over the past week or so.

    Plus, it's not just Microsoft limiting certain aspects of their online services. Other companies are; for example, slowing download speeds.
