Custom profile picture verification

I Tried to change my profile picture to a custom one that i made. But when i select that specific picture it doesn't go through,

But gives me a message stating "Don't worry we still have your picture, You will see it again once we have verified that it is OK."

Now i understand that they would not allow profile pictures of something provocative/offensive or anything like that.

But i can assure that the profile picture isn't offensive in any way, Shape or form. I would just like to use it.

Is it really being verified?

It seems to be uploaded now, and I really appreciate that. But this problem has happened to me multiple times. I'd like to know if there's something wrong with my account?
