Custom profile pic only for adults

Basically when i try to change to custom profile pic it says: Custom profile pictures are only available for adults. I checked that my account is an adult so why is it Still saying that?

when I go to profile > customize profile > change gamerpic, when I go to custom gamer pic it says error custom gamer pics are only for adult accounts how can I change this?

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It's possible that your account was created with a birthdate under the age of 18. If it is the only account in the Microsoft family then it can appear to be an adult account when looking into it.

Are you able to
change your privacy settings? Test it out. If you cannot, then your account is a child account and will not be able to use

custom Gamerpics until the account graduates to an adult account naturally.

Yeah I can acces the pricavy settings but it still says the same message when i try to do it

When the account was first created is it possible that the date of birth may have been set so it would currently still be under 18 years old? If so that accounts Xbox Live Profile will remain a child account until the 18th birthday of the date of birth used
upon creation.
