Custom marker waypoint

Hi.

on the map, I once set up a custom waypoint (the smaller blue one) and now can't get rid of it. I can move it to other places but can't delete it completely. Whenever i look at the map it's always there.

Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I don't see a "remove marker" option like in Fallout.

If you have taken photos in the game and try to use the waypoint marker it sticks to the same location despite the photo taken elsewhere even far out at sea. Just warning people its screwed up at the minute. Buy the way it would be worth getting the submarine
so that you can find the money cases at the bottom of the ocean setting a way point returning to the surfice.Get a jet ski come back to the waypoint but dont dive in the water instead take a photo of the sea and upload it so you can just access the photo gallery
and hit x on that photo so you know exactly where to dive with the sub in future

Move the cursor to some random open part of your map, press "A" (I believe) to set a new marker. You will be presented with three options; Move custom marker to this new spot, leave it where it is or delete it.

Choose "remove" and viola, it will be gone.

Don't feel foolish, nearly everyone asked that question at some point. It isn't exactly easy to figure it out.

I only knew that because I asked once myself. I hope that helps (and that I recalled it correctly) but given The Lady Bastet did not offer corrections and she knows this game very well indeed, I feel pretty confident without actually being in front of the
