Custom Gamerpic won't update on console

I recently changed from a default gamerpic image to a custom image using the app on my phone.

The upload was successful, and the gamerpic changed, but not on my console profile screen, or for myself in game in Rocket League.

The new gamerpic shows up on the PC desktop app, the phone app, and in party chat on console. My friends can see it on their friends list, and they can see it in game (Rocket League). But when I log in, choose account, or see it in game, I still see the
old gamerpic. When I am at the Xbox home screen, the old gamerpic is displayed in the top left corner.

It has been 4 days since I changed it. I have done several full power cycles of the console, both the in OS "restart" and unplugging the power cable.

Any ideas?

You can add a custom gamerpic once your console receives the update to do so. Doing it any other way at this point would be unwise.

 

Custom Gamerpic won't go through

Gamerpics are not displayed immediately.

As the message says, the image is uploaded and put into an review queue, where the Enforcement team checks if the picture violates the Code of Conduct.

Be aware, that the support you might have already asked is not the department that validates gamerpics.

By repeatedly uploading the picture over and over again, you just put yourself at the end of the waiting queue again.

So simply be patient, and be aware that it might take up to two working days for your Gamerpic to be approved by the Enforcement team to be shown publicly.

please try this:

1. Remove profile from the console (Make sure you know the account credentials for the account, since you will need them later)
   
2. Perform the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:

3. Redownload your profile
