    No. The feature was re-enabled which is why the notification was removed.

    So dissapointed in microsoft.....think it might be time to buy a playstation..sad to say

    Now there restricting people's accounts, I can't even change my gamerpic and it's doing my head in.

    nobody available to talk to about this so looks like I'm stuck with it...
    There's a notification about gamerpics on the contact page. https://beta.support.xbox.com/contact-us Changing custom gamerpics has been temporarily disabled for everyone.
    It's not account specific.

    The ability to change custom gamerpics is currently disabled temporarily. Once that is lifted for everyone you should be able to change it again.

    Why cant I upload a gamer picture??

    The ability to change custom gamerpics has been temporarily switched off to help with moderation during the crisis.

    More info on beta.support.xbox.com in the notifications.
