    Custom Gamerpic Conundrum


    I've done some research into how to use a custom gamperpic on xbox, and it's not that difficult. However, applying a custom gamerpicture is a feature only accessible by adult accounts - and my account is a child account, created by my parents when I was
    11. Now I'm almost 16, and most of my friends have custom gamerpics, so I would also like to enjoy this luxury.

    The obvious answer would be to wait for my account to mature to age 18, and I assume it would update itself to the adult status, but is that the only way? When I bought Battlefield 4 I couldn't play it for a whole year due to a similar age requirement, so
    I'm used to being patient if it comes to that.

    I would still like to know if I can change my account before I resort to waiting a few years. I've done as much as I could through some basic research, although I did that awhile ago and dropped the subject in my mind, it has only now become a thought again
    recently.

    Custom GamerPic

    Are you still having problems using a custom Gamerpic? I don't know if it is a known bug but this is what I did to enable custom Gamerpic.

    My Profile > Privacy Settings > Game Content > You can see and share content

    Set the option to "Everybody" in order to upload and use a custom Gamerpic. Anything other than that and your custom Gamerpic reverts back to an avatar or one of those generic ones.

    Xbox avatar problems...

    Bought a cool new outfit on 360 and while it's on the One, I can customize and take a gamerpic, but my gamerpic never changes from the current avatar. This is a bunch of bullshit.

    I'm afraid the only option is wait for the account to be considered an adult account, since currently the feature is limited to adult accounts.

    What WPAK says is true. This feature is specific to adult users. When your account was created, a date of birth was entered. This particular date of birth was stored with us and cannot be changed in our system. We appreciate your patience on this matter

    You can have a custom gamerpic that is why the option is there.

    If the gamerpic is not in breach of the Terms of Service/Code of Conduct then it will not be changed.

    Only time that enforcement will change the gamerpic if it is in violation of the Terms of Service and other users have reported the custom gamerpic.
