Currupt game

Discus and support Currupt game in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; Hi so I own rainbow 6 siege. Decided last night 14hrs from this post to install it again (digital).     Currupt game


    Hi so I own rainbow 6 siege. Decided last night 14hrs from this post to install it again (digital).

    I've tried all morning to redownload the game but it keeps telling me the same messege that it can't as it appears to be currupt and will not open. The issue is its not even downloaded I've completely wiped the xbox one s of anything to do with RS6 and tried to download it but it keeps saying the same thing. I've got 160+ games I own in my library I've checked half of them and they all start to install correctly.

    I'm not sure what else to do I've checked for system updates etc as well and followed trouble shooting issues on the xbox website.

    How can a game be currupt if it isn't even on the console?

    Delete everything about the game from your hard drive, then redownload from download history.

    that should fix it. Sometimes when downloading a game a file will everynow and again a small curruption in the data files. and even if you just redownload it, it can miss that stop thinking its non currupt.

    Sounds like the download was currupted, this is exactally why I try not to download games through games on demand

    If you are able to get to the dashboard I would suggest checking to see if your profile is currupt. If it is currupt delete it ( Make sure to delete profile only) Then download the profile again.

    I would suggest checking your hard drive and make sure that your profile is not currupt. If your profile or any other files are currupt please delete the files. ( If it is your profile that is currupt please make sure when you delete it that you delete profile
    only) When you have deleted the currupt files try to download your profile again

    Another step you could try would be to turn the console off and remove the hard drive and try to recover your account to a usb stick.
