    Hi All,

    I have installed crusader kings from Xbox game APP and it installs fine but getting issues with trying to start it. It starts with and asks to sign into to paradox account and it will not go pass it and crashes.

    I get the following error

    Check the Windows Store for more info about Crusader Kings III.

    I have disabled avast for during the installation and running , this doesn't work and Avast and firewall is allowing it into through the machine

    reinstalled the the game multiple times and all files are there compared to another installation

    I have removed and reinstalled MS store via powershell commands

    Drivers and windows are update to date

    No logs in System or APP events

    I can't think of anything else to try

    Thank you for contacting the Xbox support forums. It sounds as though you have attempted a variety of troubleshooting fixes for Crusader Kings 3. For additional support, I would suggest contacting Paradox Interactive directly at: Paradox Interactive Support.

    Looking into the error, it seems as though the roadblock you're facing is similar to known issues that can be found at Important Information | Crusader Kings III.

    If you feel as though this error may be caused by the Xbox App, please ensure that you are logged into the account that is linked with your Game Pass Ultimate subscription. You may also attempt to ensure that the game is updated after installing. You may find steps on how to update through Windows 10/Windows 11 at: Get updates for apps and games in Microsoft Store.

    However, since you were able to install the game, it may be an error that's linked with known issues with the title.

    The image you sent, no longer presents the previous error, it even starts the download. Error 0x87e00196 has been resolved. Now, the issue is related to the download, but anyway, as soon as Windows is installed, the Microsoft Store starts downloading updates for the native apps, at first, it can take a while.

    It appears that Crusader Kings III has started downloading. Since you sent the message, has it continued in this percentage?

    As per checking, even on the website, there is no discount for the game. You may have seen the PC version of Crusader Kings III. I got you the link here for the Xbox version: https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/crusader...

    It's not listed on the known issue list so we may need to check from time to time if the game will be discounted.
