Crunchyroll Free Xbox Game Pass code not working.

I have crunchyroll premium and due to something going on I got 3 months for free, but when I go to redeem the code it says that it doesn't work or that I am not eligible for some reason but I don't actually know why.

Have you had Game Pass before? I ask as a lot of codes are only redeemable by new members and not by those who have had Game Pass before. Not saying it is definitely the case here but something to look into

If I may ask, what is the exact error that you're getting whenever you're trying to redeem the code?

The codes expired on 2nd March:

"After claiming the Perk, you must redeem your Crunchyroll Mega Fan code in your Crunchyroll account by March 2, 2022. The free trial lasts 75 days after redemption.

Codes unredeemed by March 2, 2022 will expire and you’ll no longer be able to claim 75 days of Crunchyroll Mega Fan."

When you mention Game pass, do you mean games installed through the Xbox app with the subscription?

yes, i use the free 3-month subscription offered by crunchyroll and the games are downloaded through the gamepass app for win10
