    CROSSPLAY REFUSED: The host does not currently allow crossplay with your platform


    I have the Xbox Ultimate Pass and downloaded the ARK version that has/shows PLAY ANYWHERE. I worked with an Xbox tech yesterday and we had me upgrade Windows10 with the 2004 version for it. I loaded ARK via the BETA app. What I want to do is join a friend
    who is playing in NA-PVE-XboxOfficial server. I received the invite no problem. Upon trying to enter with him....I got the above (subject) notification. Crossplay refused. Plus, when I loaded the ark server list for the first time I did get a list of Xbox
    servers but it went away quickly. My friends server was not in that grouping/list. I can not get the Xbox server to show again. All I get is a full page of "Crossplay" . I want to Crossplay into a very specific server. Can anyone help?

    Friend is on an XboxOfficial server. Not a paid server or home operated server.

    Just make sure its allowed for both parties invilved and that sshould work

    Ok, beings I haven't found any solutions to the problem. I have cancelled my Ultimate Pass and Uninstalled ALL the games. Consider this question/post closed. I do thank all of those that did try to help me with it.

    It might be some server requirement, sometimes there are paid servers or maybe you need to check your server configuration.
