    Crossplay Minecraft - PS4 + PC - is LAN possible in 2024?


    We've got a PS4 and PC, and wish to crossplay on a private server without buying a PS Plus subscription..

    Is playing via LAN still possible (I found it on 2022 posts)? I've tried all the different options, and enabling all the settings, but on the PS4 the "Multiplayer" tab isn't possible to check without it automatically going to PS Plus subscription.

    I can't see anything on there about LAN settings.. so is it now only Java edition that we can do that on? Not Bedrock to Bedrock?

    Both Bedrock versions are v1.20.81 and I've double checked the network settings which are identical..

    Forgive my ignorance if this information is incorrect for Minecraft but I do not know of a game that is cross platform for PS4, Xbox and PC. Any games I've seen have been 2 way as in PS4-PC or Xbox-PC. I may be wrong as Minecraft may support this kind
    of crossplay but this could be your issue.

    The unfortunate part about playing Minecraft Dungeons on PC is that there are no cross-save, crossplay, or cloud saving. So if you play on PC 1, you'll have to make another character on PC 2. You cannot transfer your saves between platforms as well - such

    Oh, I see. The crossplay will only work on Internet connection. You'll be needing to play on both PC if you want to connect through LAN.
