Cross progression from steam to console

Yes, the game progress you made on Steam will transfer to your Xbox console if you purchase it there as well, using the same Xbox account. This is because Forza Motorsport has Cross-Progression between both platforms, as you can confirm for yourself through the following link:

The game doesn't support cross-saves from Microsoft to Steam so there's no way to get your progress moved to the Steam version of the game.

From Activision:

"Yes, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (Cross-Gen) is cross-play, cross-progression,
and cross-generation enabled. Once you upgrade from the current generation console
to the next generation console, your profile, progression, and stats will move with you."

Your progression is linked to your online waypoint account NOT steam

Gamesaves are not 100% cross-platform this is game to game not guaranteed
