    Cross-Play Issue Between PS5 and PC (Steam) – Unable to Send or Receive Invites

    Description:

    Hello,

    I’m experiencing an issue with cross-play in Forza Horizon 5.

    I play on PlayStation 5, and my friend plays on PC (Steam). Both of us have correctly linked our Microsoft/Xbox accounts and added each other as friends on Xbox Live. We are both running the latest version of the game.

    However, we are unable to see each other online, and invitations do not go through in either direction.

    We have already checked the following:

    • Both accounts are signed into Xbox Live and linked properly.
    • We are both in online mode (Horizon Life) in-game.
    • Privacy settings on both Microsoft accounts allow cross-network play and communication.
    • Network connections are stable, and NAT types are not strict.
    • We have restarted the game and our systems.

    Despite all of this, we still cannot connect or join each other.

    Could you please assist with this issue or let us know if this is a known bug?

    Minecraft Bedrock edition is not a PlayAnywhere title. You will need to purchase the game for Windows 10 unfortunatly.

    It is crossplay enabled between Windows 10, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and mobile. Where you can use the same account to play.

    Cross-play works for both physical and digital. If you own the disc on Xbox One, you can play with people who are on Windows 10.

    However, what you don't get with a physical disc is ownership of the game on Windows 10 - that's only with the digital copy of the game.

    That's correct, you get both the Xbox One and Series versions of the game.

    F1 2019 does not support cross play so you would not be able to play together. Any games that do support cross play or are Play Anywhere can be played together. So even though you both would have the same game through Game Pass, you may still not be able
    to play with each other and would have to check the games to see if they support it.
