Credit for Unredeemed XBOX/Groove Music Pass

According to the Groove Music and Spotify: FAQ

"I bought a Groove Music Pass and haven’t redeemed it. What are my options?

As of October 2, 2017, you can no longer redeem your Groove Music Pass. Microsoft will offer 120% of the value of your unused pre-paid Groove Music Pass as store credit to spend at the Microsoft Store. If you haven’t redeemed your pass yet and want to get
your credit, contact customer support."

Since this is technically a Prepaid Groove Music Pass, you won't be able to redeem it and you'll need to contact our chat/phone teams for assistance.

The music groove promotion was only available for first time user here is a link to check to see if it is the same promotion that you had.

*Offer valid until 12:00 AM GMT July 1, 2017 or while supplies last. Codes for additional free months must be redeemed by August 15, 2017. Customer must sign up for a free trial (new customers only). Credit card required. Prior Zune, Xbox or Groove Music Pass
trial customers not eligible for free trial. Free trial continues to automatic paid subscription unless cancelled. During the first 30 days, customer will receive a token for 3 months of Groove Music Pass at no charge. Tokens will be delivered to subscriber
via email or Xbox message center

Thanks for coming to the forums with your questions. Have you checked Spotify to see if your music is there also? When all this occurred some music was moved to spotify. You can view the entire guide here for

Groove music and spotify.

All the music that had a match in Spotify’s catalog now appears in your Spotify library and playlists. All your purchased or uploaded non-Groove Music Pass music will remain untouched in the Windows 10 and Xbox Groove Music apps. Music you own and
that is stored locally on your hard drive or on OneDrive is untouched and will continue to be playable from your local hard drive through the Windows 10 and Xbox Groove Music apps.
