    Tired of fighting with xbox I am selling the 4 I have and buying playstation.. Xboxes need to violate privacy with have a credit card even to uses prepaid cards has gone to far. need a frigin credit card to download a free game . not happening... I'm
    sure you will find a lot of stupid people who think it is safe to have there credit card linked to your service like I once did . children are using these systems and they want our credit card linked to the system grow up bill gates you *** rip off artist

    Hey guys,

    Where do you go to sell your old and unplayed video games? I'm really tempted to just go to Game Stop, but I know I'm probably going to get ripped off really bad.

    Also, I want actual cash not gift cards or store credit. Any suggestions?

    Am I the only one who was severely upset when I went to make a profile and use the free trial of Xbox LIVE Gold? Why do they now require credit card info? It never used to be like this. Not to rip off the Credit Karma commercials, but why do they need credit
    card info for a FREE TRIAL?

    Just be careful if you add Credit Card details to your account as you can easily leave yourself open to be ripped off. At the end of November I mysteriously bought 6000 MS points using my credit card which where transfered to another console.

    When it comes to the $1 charge it is a common practice and is done with any kind of credit card. Just with normal credit cards most people don't even notice. With gift cards people are tracking what is left and notice it. Linking a gift card to PayPal
    isn't the answer either because PayPal do it as well. As do Sony and many other companies. It isn't ripping anybody off though. It is done to verify the card and it will be refunded.

    This is an unfortunate situation, technically the OP authorised this by inputting the card details onto his nephews account. The only option is to attempt to get the money back via the card company, though they could refuse as the OP gave those details to
    that account. I personally wouldn't even let my own kids have my credit card details, let alone any other family member.

    Never been ripped off online but when there was a banking issue in the UK a fair few years back and they were using the old carbon copy machines for credit debit cards in shops, I had my details ripped off and used for ordering stuff from out of the newspapers
    and magazines and online. The credit card company investigated and found out that an employee at one of these shops was writing down the card details and using them. A police prosecution followed. So you are not always safe shopping in the real world either.

    You need to provide alot of information to redbox so it is hard to rip them off mainly because of the credit card thing address is linked and all and if its fake you still have to have an email address which uses an IP address so in the end the trouble trying
    to rip them is off is not worth lastly there is a special unremovable bar code on that if wet will not work anymore or wont be able to traded in

    Where i am in Australia does not matter if you use a credit card MP points are cheaper than getting ripped off by Game or EB 2000 MP online is only $33 i would know i have over 100 arcade titles
