    So I was trying to play Halo Infinite a month back and I downloaded it on the Xbox app. There is a known glitch with the game where when you try to sign in, it puts you in a sign in loop and you cannot log into the game. The Waypoint, the Halo support forum, suggested that I delete all the credentials necessary to log into the game by opening credential manager and deleting all of the Xbox Live Credentials. I did as they suggested and the game worked fine. Fast-forward to yesterday, when I was trying to open the Halo Infinite app again but I got stuck in the sign-in loop again. I was confused so I opened credential manager again and the xbox live credentials were somehow reinstalled. Does the Microsoft team know any solutions to this issue? I've tried things that other people have suggested on the community but it hasn't worked for the Xbox Live Credentials.

    This might because your Microsoft account was not added as local account. We would suggest that you follow the steps provided here: Switch from a local account to a Microsoft account.

    The ones listed in the manager credentials, remove them, you will be able to see the email on the windows credentials part

    Based on the information that you provided, your previous credentials are saved in your credentials manager.

    To fix this, delete all Xbox and Microsoft from your credentials manager. There is a high possibility that your previous credentials are saved in your cache and being used automatically.

    Credential Manager lets you view and delete your saved credentials for signing in to websites, connected applications, and networks.

    Click on Start > Search for Credential manager > Windows credentials. Search for Xbl|DeviceKey, click on it and then Remove. Also, remove all the XblGrts and XboxLive credentials.

    Based on the information that you provided, your credentials manager may be causing this issue.

    Delete all Xbox and Microsoft from your credentials manager. There is a high possibility that your previous credentials are saved in your cache and being used automatically.

    Credential Manager lets you view and delete your saved credentials for signing in to websites, connected applications, and networks.

    Click on Start > Search for Credential manager > Windows credentials. Search for Xbl|DeviceKey, click on it and then Remove. Also, remove all the XblGrts and XboxLive credentials.
