Creating a guest account using the xbox app for Windows 10

I'm having trouble creating a guest account using the Xbox app for Windows 10. When I attempt to add a guest account by clicking on my account I'm only given the option to sign out, Instead of being able to add a guest or switch accounts. I then tried to use the Xbox button on my controller with no luck. Advice would be appreciated.

Guest users are not a thing for the Xbox app on PC (If you are searching for a similar feature that we have on xbox)
The most closest thing to that is create a new local user in the PC

Let's create a new account to isolate if this is due to corrupted profile data. See Create

If you're using a Microsoft account on a Windows 10 PC an Xbox Live account is automatically created for things like purchasing from the app store and using the Xbox App. You're not required to use the account, but it is tied to the account that you use to
sign into a Windows 10 PC with.

You can! So long as you are connected to two different Microsoft/Xbox accounts or you are signed into a guest account on the second laptop through the Xbox One app on Windows 10... that should be possible.

When trying to play local multiplayer for Joy Ride Turbo, do you have to sign in the guest from within the game in the Xbox 360 emulator? Or did you create a guest account on the Xbox One and the created guest account is not signing in?

I suggest trying to create a guest account through the Xbox One system and see if it let's you use that guest account:

If this second player plays with you a lot or if the guest account still does not work, then I recommend just creating another Microsoft Account and then add it to the Xbox to create an Xbox profile for it. It doesn't cost anything at all to create a Microsoft
Account and there are many benefits to having one for the second player so they can easily sign in along with your own account.
