    Crashing on the Xbox One X


    I have an Xbox One X, I've had it for a little under a year.

    It's had weird crashing problems for a while, where it freezes and then force quits games I'm playing, but recently it has gotten much worse. Every game I've played will now freeze, repeat choppy audio and then crash.

    I've tried tons of things and I'm wondering if it might be a hardware issue. I've reset the Xbox twice, each time differently and I've reinstalled games, everything. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Nothing seems to work.

    Are you on an Xbox One X, by chance? There were some known issues in Metro Exodus with crashing and freezing on the Xbox One X, sadly. Hopefully these issues will be getting patched very soon.

    Same here multiple updates and still to this day the xbox one x crashes for me playing modern warfare. Its a hard crash and makes me want to switch to PlayStation 4.
