    Crashing games / Audio crashing


    So, I was playing NBA 2k and suddenly the game crashed and went back to the menu. But after that, all the games I play have the audio crashing, and the system is slower than normal. Detail: it is impossible to play NBA 2K, as it always crashes.
    Other games run normally, but the audio cuts off. For example: about 2 seconds go by without audio and then come back. Errors are constant.
    I already uninstalled NBA 2K, but the error persists in all games. Both the TV audio and the headset are stuck / pricking.
    What can this error be? Should I take assistance?

    I too recently have had the crash to homescreen, mostly for cod ghosts. anyways for anyone getting a crash to home screen in any game. check your system settings / display and sound settings / digital audio. ull see two options HDMI AUDIO and OPTICAL AUDIO.
    change your optical audio setting to off.

    and leave your hdmi audio to stereo uncompressed or whatever your preference.

    note1* this only fixed my crash to homescreen issues with cod ghosts. campaign gameplay.

    note2* the crash occured everytime even when doing different things in game. 5-6 times probably more.

    i tried uninstalling the game reinstalling clearing the system cache cold boot etc.. with no luck.

    the switching of the optical audio to off seem to do the trick.

    Well that's just it I cant even see what audio device the game bar wants to use because I click settings and then immediately head for audio and then it crashes.

    Cobalt game just crashes when you try to play online.

    Single Player is fine. Pretty good actually.

    But any attempt to play multiplayer online, whether hosting or joining, results is a crash - Audio freaks out then eventually crashes to xbox home.

    what i did to help crashes was to disable ray tracing in graphics settings and disable microphone in audio settings, for some reason both of those settings causes forza to crash alot
