Crashes as soon as I launch game streaming - event ID 1000

Hello,

For the past few days as soon as I try to stream to the Xbox App from my Xbox One S the application crashes. It used to work and there have been no hardware changes since it worked. I have tried the obvious things (restarting the PC, restarting the xbox)
etc. I have also uninstalled and re-installed the xbox app on my PC.

There is no error message displayed on screen, the app just closes. When I look in event viewer I find these messages.

Age of Empires Definitive Edition crashes on launch

As the topic says: Age of Empires Definitive Edition crashes on launch with event id 10010.

The server Microsoft.MSDallas_1.3.5172.2_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe!App did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

Thanks for reporting the issue. Are you using the Xbox app or the Xbox (beta) app? If the latter, can you please file feedback via the "report a problem" tile? If the former, can you go to the Windows store and download the beta and try again?

Hello ScantilyCloud. This happens with the Xbox app. I downloaded the (beta) app and the same thing occurs. I filed the report in the beta app.

 

After some experimentation with different settings I found that this happens if fast vsync is enabled in the NVidia control panel.
