Crash when Suspending and Resuming

Hi , everyone . Just bought a game ( FH4) , week ago ! played for 10 hours without any problems . Once , I was driving a car and then I flew off the road to water or something!! Afterwards, my car teleported to the road again ( after crash
as usual ) but I couldn't see my car and world itself ! I could hear a sound of the world and cars but screen was black . So , I changed a car using Game Menu! and it crashed ! After all this I can't launch a game fully! only until suspending screen where
I have to press enter ! After pressing enter by me it crashes everytime !!! I tried to delete the game and install it again! It doesn't work > unfortunately ! Please Help me somehow! I checked many ways how to fix it. In total I couldn't find a problem. I
just created a new account ( NEW Xbox Console Companion ACCOUNT! ) and everything works perfect ( so its not a problem with pc) but I don't have my progress and etc.. However, I want to use my old account ( > *** Die E-Mail-Adresse wurde aus Datenschutzgründen entfernt. *** ) !! Please can
you do something with> Gametag : < account??
I didn't do anything wrong. Can you check my save files?! I am sure that when I flew off the road with my car and I got stucked in textures or something like this !Its very difficult to explain ! I stucked in textures and then I wanted to
change a car > ( maybe it could help! ) but it just crashed a game totally and now I can't login with previous xbox account because it crashes everytime after loading screen where I have to press ( Enter ) to continue ! Thank you, sorry for distrurbing!
Just bought a wheel , shifter all things only for Horizon... Waiting every second to play again ..... But Forza support is not answering at all. I had left 2 tickets already but not result! How long should I wait? Its radicilous , most expensive game in the
world and support doesn't work normally at all . ( No call . no live chat , no rapid answers , no explaination ) On forum people just shocked that support from Forza not answering. Please , maybe you can solve this problem and check xbox servers or my xbox
save file for Forza Horizon 4 because with another account it works!)

Thanks for reaching out to us in the Xbox forums for this issue. Based on your experience that you've described, as well as the troubleshooting that you've already done, it appears that your Forza account and not your Xbox account
is at the heart of the issue.

As you have already and correctly reached out to the folks over at either the Forza Forums or Forza Support for assistance by setting up support tickets, you would need to await a response from the Forza Support team regarding
this specific issue. Since other Forza fans are also experiencing and reporting this issue as well, Forza Support is most likely currently coming up with a solution; however, you would need to contact them directly or visit their site for specific answers.

Many of these games have been reissued like Crash and Spyro

The backwards compatibility program is currently suspended with no guarantees it will resume.

Thank you for your feedback however, based on a lot that I have read and heard, the xbox is supposed to suspend game status when turned off, that is as long as the resume games quickly setting and instant on are set to a yes.

I know other people who can resume their games from a suspend state after turning off the system. I gave even watched videos of people doing it successfully.

In dead rising 3, it works for about a minute or so and then it crashes.

Have you heard of any similar situations?

Hi Joakim,

Sorry to hear Forza Horizon keeps crashing right after the picture.
If Forza Horizon 4 is disabled from being a background app it may crash or hang when suspending and resuming. check whether the setting is set to Off: Privacy > Background apps > Forza Horizon 4 > Off. Please keep this setting On.

I don't think this is a hardware issue, the clunk/squeak sounds like the noise a hard drive normally makes when you power it off abruptly.

On further investigation the crashes only happen on resume if the TV app is running when I suspend the console. I'm passing a HDMI switch into the HDMI input and I've found out I can reliably crash the console if I change inputs whilst the console is resuming
(input automatically changes when a device plugged into the switch is powered on, hence the 1/3 random crashes I've been seeing).

Having figured out it's TV related I looked for other posts. The problem is almost identical to:
