Cracky audio??

I have already seen several users with the same problem, apparently it is a generic problem that several people are having, the best thing I can recommend at this time is to help Microsoft by reporting the problem.

Click the green "Report" button and fill out the information as detailed as possible.

This way, Xbox will know there is a problem and can work to fix it as soon as possible.

I have the same problem, my mic sounds cracky and nobody hears me clear when playing multiplayers. I have the Razer Chimaera 5.1 connected to the stereo adapter

It depends what game i'm playing to whether i talk or not. If it's Halo or Red Dead Redemption it's friends only because the community is absolutely horrible. Games like Mass3 multi-player,CoD3 and Graw2 i will usually talk back with people because the community
is a lot better.If i'm not in party chat and playing online by myself i will usually listen to how other players act before deciding on joining in.I like a lot of players want to be able to enjoy a friendly game without having to hear cracky voiced teens call
each other names and once you make your voice present with that bunch your now involved.

I'm Arkansan, not Finlandian.

Shouldn't have any effect on the audio coming from the chat adapter. The available audio settings should only effect the HDMI audio and optical out audio.

In game audio options will effect the audio quality of headsets or headphone using the chat adapter as the audio source though.
