    Crackling noise


    So whenever I plug in my hdmi cable to my series s there is no display and it crackles. I looked in the port of my Xbox and I see 2 of the pins aren’t aligned with the other ones. What do I do?

    The crackling noises come from the console 100%. It originates from the back of the console.

    It is possible there is a short in the wire itself. That would explain the crackling noise your getting.

    mine makes noise as well in sleep mode, but it's intermittent and doesn't happen all the time. I can't remember if it was a ticking noise or a crackling but it definitely sounds not normal.
