    Crackling and stuttering noise through controller when headphones plugged in


    I have the Xbox Alpha update installed and there is a potential issue with the audio. The audio that is through the headset had a crackle and a stutter occasionally. Sometimes it’s worse than usual. I’ve tried my other controllers and my other headphones and the same issue is on all of them.

    Here is the weird thing though, when I plug in my apple headphones, it makes that pop noise. Like whenever you plug it in and you hear the noise go through the headphones.

    try another pair of head phones if it stills make that sound the it could be your controller.

    This is a widespread issue. Any headphones used, any controller used, this issue does not go away. It seems to be caused to "interference" but is really the transmission between the controller and console failing, possibly a hardware failure in the console.

    Sorry that you have audio issues. First you have to make sure that your headphones are compatible with your new Xbox. Do you have an other headphones that you could try with your new system?
