Cousins Xbox Profile does not load Friends list.

It appears that the friend's list of the account of your cousin is not synchronizing on some instances. Let us help you figure out what is causing the issue and be to correct this as soon as possible.

If we may ask, has there been any changes with the settings of the Xbox console of your cousin before this problem happen?

I am so sorry your son is having issues playing with his cousin again.

Don't worry, this is a common problem!

Here's how to unblock someone on Xbox One:

Unblocking on Xbox One:

Press the Xbox button on your controller.
Navigate to the "People" tab (far right).
Go to your "Profile" section.
Select "Social".
Choose "Following" (or "Friends" depending on how you were connected).
Change the filter from "Following" (or "Friends") to "Blocked."
Find your cousin's Gamertag on the list.
Select their Gamertag and choose "Unblock."

If you can't find them on the Blocked list:

You can also try unblocking directly from your cousin's profile:

Search for your cousin's Gamertag using the "Find someone" option.
On their profile, select "Report or Block" (three dots menu).
Choose "Unblock" if the option is available.
Once unblocked, your son should be able to see your cousin's Gamertag again and send them a friend request.

update: I've signed into xbox live using my cousin's account and it works for him.

edit: actually it's working now. I think loading it from my cousin's profile did the trick... why it didn't do it originally for mine, I don't know... Still they must have bugs to work out

Please, try clearing your MAC address.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system, then Settings.

In the General tab, select Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear.

Restart your console. Press and hold the Xbox button in the center of your controller to open the Power Center.

Select Restart console and then select Restart.

(If the console appears to be frozen, press and hold the Xbox button on the console for 10 seconds, until the console turns off. After the console shuts down, touch the Xbox button on the console again to restart.)

Sign in to your console.
