Couldnt start morrowind, removed from platform???

So, heres the deal. I purchased TES Morrowind from live on a digital purchase on june 27th. Came home tonight, tried to boot up and was met with an error code. Did some googling, turns out the code was because the system was having trouble confirming my
ownership of the game. Alright. Hard reset the xbox. No dice. Unset and reset the console as my home xbox. Didnt work. Signed out and back in. Nope. Tried other games i had purchased, and then tried morrowind. Nada. Finally hit the end of the troubleshoot
checklist, which is to uninstall and reinstall the game. Alright. Uninstall it. Go to reinstall from all owned games. Isnt there.... go to purchase history. Hey, its there but i cant select it from there. Search the marketplace... and its gone. Morrowind is
not something you can get anymore apparently, unless you want the damn online game. I paid 17 bucks for a decade old game that i got to play for a month and a half and then xbox completely dropped service for it???? ****. I want to know what the hell i paid
for. Cus it certainly wasnt to my satisfaction. I just want to play my game after a day of work. But no. No updates, no messages, nothing. The game was just removed from the platform for seemingly no reason and im just out the money i paid for it. So i guess
my question is this; what should i do? Buy a ps4 since they dont seem to have this problem???

Its in various book through out Morrowind, and oblivion.

Even in Morrowind and Oblivion they had differing genders. It has been that way from the start.

My first console was the original xbox - got it to run Elder Scroll 3: Morrowind, as my then PC couldnt run it. Sunk so many hours into that game

Please make sure your controller settings ingame are set up correctly. From my research it should be as simple as a double click to the left thumbstick. As there is no further support that can be given from Xbox, we will be locking this thread. Please feel

You guys seem to have missed out on the best of the bunch, Morrowind! That game was awesome and Lady Bastet you would have loved it as a Mage character. That game had it all, too bad they dumbed down the game with Oblivion and Skyrim. Morrowind was a beast
of a game and was VERY challenging. Many people couldnt even get into the game and quit early on as your character was such a weakling in the beginning.
