"Couldn't log in to your microsoft account" in xbox app despite being logged in

Click on Get Help.

Scroll down the page and click on Contact Support.

Select your "Other Products" and "Billing and Account Profile Questions" > Confirm.

Select "Chat with a support agent in your web browser" > Confirm > Start Chat.

So when I was attempting to log into the xbox app, it was saying that I couldn't sign in.

But, what I realized is the windows account I was logged into was not the same account. So I created a windows account with my xbox email and when I logged in, it immediately came up with the xbox console companion instead of the old xbox app and I was logged in!

So it was the windows account being a different email that was causing that issue. So I have everything fixed now!

- Log out of your Xbox app account, close the app

- Make sure the account that has the subscription is also logged in to the Microsoft Store

- Open the Xbox app and log in to your account again, if that doesn't work, see if you can download the game from the Microsoft store.

Open the xbox app and log out of your account. Then go to your microsoft store and log out as well.

Then enter the microsoft store again, and finally also log in to the xbox app.

If it doesn't work, reinstall the xbox app

Microsoft Jigsaw occasionally won't sign in despite you being logged into your microsoft account, occasionally what has helped me is signing out of my account and back in on my device and than attempting to start Microsoft Jigsaw
